I am sure you have all heard the expression, “The grass is greener on the other side”. With everyday foods there are simple changes you can make to still be satisfied but cut the calories and lose weight. The grass can be greener on the other side with simple changes, life style changes. Make a commitment to yourself to make changes in your diet and what you do throughout the day. Park your car farther away, take the dog for an extra walk after work, ride your bike with the kids on the weekend. This all adds up and it benefits everyone around you when you get the family involved.


Old habit: 1 “handful” of nuts (approximately 1/2 a cup)
