Everyone loves to snack but a lot of the snacks we like to have that are not so good for us. In a world of processed sweets and treats we are putting a lot of chemicals and fat into our bodies. Beet chips are easy to prepare and have 37 calories, 5.8g net carbs and 1.4g protein per one medium (4.5 oz) beet. They also contain 15% of your daily potassium and provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification support.

My name is Kim and I love to cook low carbs recipes, desserts, salads and soups. I am always on the hunt for new recipes to make over. My husband Paul was diagnosed with slow onset Type 1 diabetes (LADA) over 5 years ago so we were forced to change the way we did things when it came to cooking.
